This is a story of how I make money online through affiliate marketing. I hope you take this story, apply it yourself so you can profit from Internet marketing. You may think that $324 is not that much money but this is my first month of affiliate marketing. Within five days I was able to create a website and write a few articles to market my product from Market Leverage. Within seven days I was converting sales and making money. Within 30 days i receive a check for a cool $324. All from the comfort of my home. I am hoping to increase that to twice the amount for the next month. My goal is to make enough money online so I dont have work a 9-5 job ever again. The website runs itself. The best thing is when you receive emails telling you that you have made a sale.

How does a person make money on the Internet?

Here is a step by step process of what I did to make money on the Internet. It is all about affiliate marketing.

Step 1: Get a website. I use bluehost.com as my web host provide. For about $6.95 you can host a website for pretty cost effectively. With $324 in the bank I have already paid for my web hosting provider.

Step 2: Install Wordpress as your content management system. Wordpress is free with your web hosting provider.

Step 3: Get a theme. I used the Affiliate Theme by Unique Blog Designs. That is what made it easy. This is a pre packaged Wordpress theme that allows you to build turn key websites without any technical experience. Just pick a banner graphic and add content.

Step 4: Pick a niche. A niche market is important for Internet marketing. This will help you grab your audience and convert sales. Ensure that for your niche. there is a related product to sell.

Step 5: Sign up for a Market Leverage account. Pick a product to sell from Market Leverage.

Step 6: Write good content. Content is king. Content will lure people to your website as well as help you with search engine optimizataion. Write a few articles related to your niche and the product you want to sell.
