In using it with Wordpress, it will help you install and upgrade Wordpress. Need to install a new theme onto Wordpress? Just upload the files with Filezilla. Need to update your style.css? Just upload the files with Filezilla? Need to add a new image to your site? Just upload the files with Filezilla? Need to backup your website? Just download the files with FileZilla. You get the point.

Here is you get started with FileZilla:

1.       Download and install FileZilla – the win32-setup.exe version is recommended – http://downloads.sourceforge.net/filezilla/FileZilla_3.1.6_win32-setup.exe?modtime=1228247379&big_mirror=0

2.       Double click on the FileZilla Client icon on the desktop.

3.       Click on File à Site Manager.

4.       Click on the New Site Button.

5.       Give your site a name under the Select Entry Box.

6.       To the right side enter your host name ftp.yoursite.com for example.

7.       Under logontype select Normal.

8.       Enter your username and password for your ftp login.

9.       Click Connect to connect to your site now or Click OK to save your entry.
